The Yeon-li technique structures the WC208_2022 from the inside out: differently coloured clays assembled, thrown, cut into vertical facets, polished to a near-luminous surface. In white, the result is almost severe — pure geometry, almost no colour.
Then a single cobalt line. Revealed at mid-height, slightly uneven, thicker at its centre, tapering at both ends. It sits across the facets without following them. It is the main element in this piece that was planned by the cutting process — and it changes everything. A horizon. A breath. A mark that makes the geometry legible as a surface, not just a form.
