Poised recurs across several of Jaejun Lee's pieces as a form built around balance — a rounded body tapering to a narrow foot, standing with quiet uprightness. This version presents the form without a named series or variant, closest to what might be considered its baseline expression: a pale celadon glaze applied to the shoulder, thinning into narrow trails that end in small drip-points at the base.
Wheel-thrown in Korean porcelain and fired in gas reduction at Cone 9, the piece belongs to Jaejun Lee's ongoing exploration of celadon glaze — where the glaze's movement during firing is treated as part of the finished work rather than something to be smoothed away. Each drip is unrepeatable, fixed at the exact point the kiln reaches its final temperature.
