Flow Teal III-1 belongs to the third subseries of Kim Hojung's Flow practice — larger in scale than the Flow I and II vessels, and notable for the upward movement of its elongated form. The surface, built through a sustained process of gesture and mark, references the formal vocabulary of Korean Neolithic pottery while existing entirely in the present.
Colour carries intention: teal brings the quality of forests into everyday life — quiet, restorative, present. The form is not decorated; the surface is the work. Flow Teal III-1 was wheel-thrown in white porcelain, hand-finished, and high-temperature fired.

Kim Hojung 김호정
"Blue reflects a sense of longing for the infinite spaces of nature, such as the sky and the sea, while teal green evokes lush forests, offering a sense of rest and quiet natural calm within everyday life."
